It is difficult to put the MotherMe experience into words.

Our doula worked for our family as a postpartum doula after my second child was born. I wish I had her help with the first. I did not use her services during pregnancy/delivery but again wished I had.

She was very energetic and is always one step ahead of her new mom. She was great at taking direction and always completed the work down to the last detail and often throws in things you didn't even think of. She was very supportive emotionally and frequently reminded me that I was doing a good job and that its a tough time for every mom.

She did well offering advice without being intrusive and being a mother herself NEVER tried to persuade me to do something I wasn't comfortable with. By the same token, she had a special way of doing things for her new babies and usually what she does works even if you are hestitant to try it yourself.

She is a teacher and a mentor and a cheerleader and a resource and the four extra hands you didn't realize you would need. She is easy to trust and always comes to work with a smile. She works hard to keep the lines of communication open to ensure that you are getting all that you need from her services.

Finally, if I can be blunt. Don't look any further, you'll be wasting your time. MotherMe doulas are the best, the end.

We loved working with our doula. She was wonderful. I think that the thing that helped the most was the way that she knew how long each contraction was going to be an how you get through the each peak and valley. We couldn't of made it with out her!!!!! Tom felt the same

way. Her calming presence made our labor the experience that we wanted it to be!

I can not say enough positive things about Our doula and the service she offers to pregnant women. My birth experience was SO positive, it was exactly what I wanted and Our doula was a large reason for that. She was totally supportive of my choices. She was extremely helpful while I was pregnant both in preparing me for the birth and in giving me advice when I asked for it.

My husband was initially leery of hiring a doula but after meeting with Our doula and in particular after we had Katy he has said several times that it was great having Our doula there to support us and that it was the best money we spent.

Our doula was there to support me before I had Katy, during the actual birth and was very helpful to me during a particularly difficult period I was

having with my daughter shortly after having had her. She came to my house and spent several hours with me to help me when I called crying about a week after I had Katy.

One of my closest friends has just found out she is pregnant for the first time and she will be hiring Our doula as her doula based on the positive

experience I had and the glowing recommendations we have given her.

In short I simply cannot say enough positive things about Our doula and the service she provided to our family.

As a single, first-time mother, I was pretty scared about giving birth. Having a doula as a part of the birth of my son made a huge difference in my experience. My doula provided a positive presence during the weeks prior to the birth, keeping my spirits up, answering questions, and calming fears. During labor, my doula helped me to stay focused and explained what all of the medical options being proposed by the doctors meant. I ended up having a ceserean section after a long labor. My doula communicated with my family to keep them updated and calm. She stayed with me through the procedure and followed up in person to provide much needed breastfeeding guidance.

All of the doctors and nurses at the hospital were focused on the health and wellness of my baby, as they should be. My doula kept her focus on me. When I think back on the amazing birth of my son, my doula is a wonderful, integral part of it. Thanks!
